Pool Plant Upgrades

Council is undertaking a program of upgrades to pool plant systems at our Aquatic Centres to improve water quality, safety, and long-term reliability. These works involve updating behind-the-scenes equipment such as filtration and water treatment systems to ensure our pools continue to operate at a high standard. While most works will occur with minimal impact, some short, staged pool closures will be required throughout the program. We’ve answered some common questions below to help you understand what’s happening and what to expect.
