Get Active Kids Voucher – FAQ
Can I use my voucher for goggles, merchandise or casual entry fees? No. Voucher credit can only be applied to registered swimming lessons and will be allocated to your child’s fortnightly direct debit payments.
How long does it take to receive a voucher? Voucher applications are processed by the program provider and can take up to 30 days from the date of lodgement. For updates on your application, please contact the Get Active Kids program directly.
How long will it take to see the voucher applied to my swim school payments? It can take up to 6 weeks for the voucher to appear on your swim school account. Once we receive your voucher, we submit it to the Get Active Kids program for redemption. We must then wait for remittance of funds before applying the credit to customer accounts to ensure the payment has cleared.
Is there an expiry date on vouchers? Yes. Each voucher has an expiry date and must be redeemed before it expires. Expired vouchers cannot be accepted.
Are vouchers transferable between children? No. Vouchers are issued in the child’s name and can only be applied to that child’s enrolment.
Can I use the voucher for the upcoming School Holiday Intensive Program? Yes. However, vouchers are single-use. Any remaining balance after enrolment will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or credited.
If my child is not currently enrolled in swimming lessons, can I enrol and use the voucher? Yes, subject to availability. Vouchers can be used for new enrolments at Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre and Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre. Vouchers are not accepted for enrolments at SPLASH Aqua Park and Leisure Centre. Students must be enrolled into our program prior to us lodging vouchers.
How do I submit my voucher? Vouchers must be submitted via the link available on the Hume Leisure Get Active Kids webpage. Our team will then apply the credit to your child’s account once funds have been received.
Can I request a transaction summary for reimbursement instead of submitting a voucher? No. We are unable to generate individual statements for reimbursement claims under this program. Due to the high volume of requests, we can only accept official vouchers to apply as credit to accounts.
What happens if my voucher value is higher than my lesson fees? If the full voucher amount is not used at the time of enrolment, the remaining balance will be forfeited, as vouchers are single-use and cannot be split across multiple transactions.
What happens if my child withdraws from lessons after the voucher has been applied? Voucher funds are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or reissued. Any unused portion will be forfeited in line with program guidelines.
